Heres to the typical 3 year old !

Okay ...so as the title says , a Typical 3 year old!
Shydee has been doing better than ever....shes doing AMAZING
she has a slow gentle baby trot (western pleasure trot) its so slow and smooth!
Her Canter has slowed down and has got so collected! shes so smooth and easy!
Well her baby-ness has to kick in somewhere in this really amazing streak
so the other day shydee and i were riding bareback around the barn owners house , shydee was doing great ( she was in a halter/leadline) and so i decided to canter her! and it felt like we were in slow motion the wind in my hair she felt like she was floating in air...it was honestly one of those moments where you can breath in and look up and say to yourself " through all of our hardships...its so worth it"
Well we kept going and enjoyed our bareback ride...then my mom pulled up! i ran over with shydee telling my mom how amazing she was being so i decided to show my mom, so i took shy around the house turned the corner where my mom could see....and shydee started doing "baby bucks" out of excitment -____- my mom was like....i thought she was being amazing?" LOL so i kept going, i made her sop bucking asked her to canter again trotted a bit and then ended on a good note! lol no matter how good she is , theres always that typical three year old up inside of her! I love this girl so much though! Im so proud of her and that was her first buck in like 5 months so i still think she needed to just get it out hahah
i love her!

** Also her dusty and gypsy are all doing great, they even got a new pasture buddy named princess! Ill attach some pics of them all running around in the pasture:) **

Shydee & I had a photoshoot done by trotting heart photography!!

Shydee is still at sugar bears stables and well shes the typical three year old ( being blonde doesnt help her cause) LOL

we still have alot of long hard work to do but were getting there!

UPDATE ON SHYDEE!!!!! 

Shydee loves the spring weather , Shes sheadded out and is getting nice muscles for the warm weather season!

Ive been riding shydee in a snaffle bit and mostly western or bareback! Shydee has been on one trail in her life and might go out for a second, here this week!

Shydee is more spoiled than ever! My goal is not to over work her so she gets ridden for a little bit a few times a week! 

Shydee has made huge progress with me !

Being that shes young, i love on her and groom her more than i ride her...but she still gets the refreshed touch up rides she needs! i love free lunging her and dusty together!

her and dusty are really good friends and i love taking shydee out to the field on a lead line and watch her graze and relax!

Ive also been working on shydee with setting up on the ground, so she can do halter classes in open shows! Shydee has learned to drop her head , it looks great! Shes really fun to ride and such a great mare!

Off Campus!

So everyone now knows 
Shydee Is at a new barn (sugar Bear stables )
well one cool thing they have here that they didnt have at the old barn was a corn field that we could ride in, there are also some wooded areas we can ride around
Shydee had never been out of an arena so we started her off by riding her up and down the drive way, beside the road near passing cars, riding through parking lots..and then finally Cara our trainer took her in the corn field! She cantered shydee up a hill and everything, I was there =) i rode My friends horse Dusty - I got to gallop dusty through the field....full speed gallop!!! SO much fun

Anyway back to shydee- she did great! She didnt mind cars passing, her only issue was she didnt want muddy hooves but shes now learned to get over that! Soon Ill e able to ride her back there! Tomorrow Im gonna ride Dusty , Cara's Gonna be on shydee , And Julias taking Scooter And were going for a nice trail ride! And yes im gonna gallop dusty again! And if its not to muddy cara may canter shydee some more- but remeber shydee is young and we dont want to over work her!

All i can say is i am so proud of shydee girl! Shes come SUCH a long way
Can you believe a few months ago i couldnt even ride her??

Shydee At Sugar Bear Stables

Okay! So Remember my last blog...about how we were gonna move barns , and how shydee was rearing and being crazy!

     Well with in the first hour we got to sugar bears Shydee was Back to her normal amazing self! the day after we moved...i even rode her! She did wonderful!!

Now after working with shydee and having Cara work with shydee, Shes doing great! Were walking trotting and cantering

We've worked inside and outside and with other horses in the arena with us! Shydee didnt mind it!

Shes much happier here and her three best friends are Ego , Dusty And Scooter!

All 4 are wonderful horses!

So as of now shydee is back to her amazing self! Gonna keep working..but in no time she'll be even better than now!

Re Training

So after 30 days of training shydee was doing great! Well then she became lame (she hurt her hoof) So we have her a break and then when we came back to start training shydee was being a brat! she was bucking...kickking rearing and was just being horrible!!!! So we tried and looks like we have to start all over! Shydee will be leaving Liberty Acres and Going to Sugar Bear Stable! They Have a trainer there named Cara...Cara , Shydee and I will be re-training! We'll work in the enclosed round pen ...indoor and outdoor arena! Cara Has promised that she will have shydee safe and sound for me=)
     Shydee and i put aton of work into this and we just didnt know what happened:(  At this barn we will have more things to do....more training time and there are girls my age who can be riding buddies! 
 Im thankful for shydee ...i Love her so much....i just gotta get her bad habbits fixed and get her sound again! It is a COMPLETE new start for us both!

Update 1/17/12

Although Shydee and have our good days and bad shes my angel... Today i entered her in a photo contest , im going to copy paste our story....This is My Baby, Her name is Shydee! she has been nothing but Amazing! She is a 3 year old paint.. I got her when she was just a few months old! She is the love of my life, My Bestfriend And My Wither to cry on- Shydee Has recentally been broken And is still in training ... shes a cool calm and collected mare! Shydee Was my first horse and I couldnt have asked for a better one! We learn together and will remain together! Shydee is still a baby so shes tiny and funny - shes a fun loving spirit! No Matter what happens we get through it together- And it just doesn't get better than that! Although Shydee is young and wild she has taught me who i am - she taught me such much about horses and she showed me what a true friendship really was! Although this story isnt as long or as great as the others....Shydee is my world and i couldnt picture life with out her♥ Shydeee really wants a Turtle neck winter Blanket and her birthday is comming up here soon! I Love you Shydee to the moon and back!♥

So Far Shydee is in 3rd outta 75 horses....and we still have weeks to go.....Shydee is truly amazing shes my love my life my everything
